What are the advantages of developing a strong brand?

  1. People Trust Brands. All of the evidence confirms that we all trust brands to provide great products or services. Equally, trust can be broken if brands fail to deliver the quality that their customer’s expect every time.
  2. People Will Pay More For Brands. Generally speaking brands attract a premium but this is not always the case. A brand may choose to position itself lower in the market for good reasons. Take Lidl or Aldi; both very recognisable and trusted brands but both known as ‘discounters’ but both are brands that deliver a great service and a great value for money.   3. Are Brands Indestructible? Not at all. Remember Toys R Us and Bhs? Brands have to ‘keep current’ to survive and even the strongest of brands have had to evolve and change with the times.
