CP2 Who is this course for?

This course is designed for all staff who are called upon to act as a chaperone within either a Window to the Womb or firstScan clinic. It is particularly suitable for the following:

• Reception and administration staff.
• Healthcare assistants/scan assistants.
• Doctors, radiographers, nurse and midwife healthcare professionals.

Latest guidance on the role of chaperones in a ‘primary care’ environment states that everyone should receive training in their role and responsibilities as a chaperone. This short e-Learning course fulfils that objective and ensures that all team members feel confident with their role and can act in the interest of the client.

On completion of this e-Learning course you will understand the role and responsibilities of a chaperone in a primary care and similar clinical setting (such as at a Window to the Womb or firstScan clinic).
