CP2 After the examination
- The chaperone should leave the scan room following the scan only with the client.
- Ensure the client’s privacy and dignity is protected, for example, do not open the scan room door until the client is fully dressed and prepared to leave the room.
- Address any queries or concerns relating to how the scan was conducted.
- Ensure all examination details including the following are recorded in the client’s notes:
- Consent
- Chaperone issues
- Any information given
- Any discussion
