A scan assistant’s role is diverse. You will be involved in the following key areas of the clinic’s operation:
- Reception
- Meet and greet; the first ‘face’ of the brand.
- Take payments.
- Take phone calls.
- Assist in making appointments at local hospitals.
- Handle paperwork.
- Assist in the waiting area and print area.
- Waiting area & print area
- Assisting customers as they complete key paperwork (Well-being Report or firstScan Questionnaire).
- General relationship/rapport building with the customer and her wider family.
- Time management; managing the flow of customers into the scan room.
- Advising clients of items available to purchase.
- Assisting customers with selecting and printing images and uploading to our bumpies app.
- Cleaning and hygiene control.

- Supporting the sonographer.
- Completing key paperwork.
- Relationship building with the family.
- Handling referrals and providing care and support to the customer and her family in the event of any abnormalities being identified.
