Prior to any 1st Trimester scan you must ascertain all relevant information prior to commencing the scan especially if the patient has had a previous scan for the current pregnancy. It is beneficial if you can obtain the previous report where possible and a scan must not be performed if less than two weeks since the previous scan.
It is important to note that all our reports completed within the 1st Trimester are templated for consistency and to maintain national standards to ensure that the products, services and systems are safe, consistent and reliable.
